Connis O. Brown, III has a broad practice that includes extensive experience in intellectual property, class action, products liability, design, real estate, commercial leasing, wrongful death, catastrophic accident, and business litigation. Mr. Brown has over 20 years of experience as an attorney and is accustomed to mastering and presenting to judges and juries the highly technical issues that arise in matters ranging from patent disputes to air crashes. He was an equity shareholder at Gunster Yoakley, a large Florida firm, before forming Brown Robert, LLP with Mr. Robert in 2002. Licensed to practice in Florida since 1987 and California since 2001, he has tried numerous cases, including multi-million dollar matters, before judges and juries. He is frequently engaged as special trial counsel to assist other attorneys in the final preparation and trial of complex cases and has occasionally served as an expert witness and legal consultant in connection with intellectual property issues. In addition to being admitted in Florida and California, Mr. Brown has handled many major cases pro hac vice in state and federal courts in New York, New Jersey, Texas, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Utah and several other states.
Seth P. Robert has extensive courtroom experience, both through representing clients and from the other side of the bench as a law clerk for two years for the Honorable Arthur D. Spatt, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of New York. Mr. Robert followed his clerkship by practicing as a litigation attorney at the Manhattan law firm of Graubard Mollen and Miller from 1994 to 1999, where he handed multi-million dollar commercial disputes. Since he began practicing in Florida in 1999 he has represented clients in matters pending in numerous Federal and State Courts, both at Brown Robert, LLP and as a shareholder in the litigation department of Gunster Yoakley, a large Florida firm, prior to the formation of Brown Robert, LLP with Mr. Brown in 2002. In addition to conventional trial work including jury trials, Mr. Robert has handled major commercial arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association and the National Association of Securities Dealers. His practice focuses on complex and technical litigation, including matters involving intellectual property rights, securities, and business disputes. In addition to being admitted in Florida, New York and New Jersey, Mr. Robert has handled major cases pro hac vice in both state and federal courts located in other states.
Vanessa M. Cady is a former prosecutor with the Broward County Office of the State Attorney during which time she had extensive experience handling felony trials. Ms. Cady is a cum laude graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law, during which time she received numerous Trial Team awards.
Christine M. Manzo is a graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During her time practicing law with our firm, Ms. Garcia has worked on appellate briefs, motions in the Federal and State Courts of the State of Florida, as well as pleadings and discovery. She is also fluent in Spanish.
Vincent P. D'Andrea has extensive litigation experience in both the state and federal courts of New York. He has handled cases involving complex commercial disputes, defense of civil rights, employment litigation, Title VII litigation, Title IX litigation, criminal defense, wrongful death, and general civil litigation.
Roni Schneider has extensive experience in intellectual property litigation, creditors' rights litigation, trust and estate litigation and complex commercial disputes. She is admitted in both Florida and New York has handled major litigations at both the trial and appellate level. Prior to practicing law in Florida, Ms. Schneider practiced in New York with Loeb & Loeb, LLP where she focused her practice on banking and intellectual property litigation.
